Hedgecock Racing Academy was founded by entrepreneur
and stock car industry veteran, Jay Hedgecock.
Jay began his career building and racing his own cars.
He worked his way up to Winston Cup using equipment
and cars that he and his crew built themselves. Through
this process, Jay developed a reputation for building
great cars and other drivers and team owners started
coming to him for their fabrication needs.
 Jay
started his fabrication business back in 1983 in High
Point, NC. Since then, Jay and his company, Hedgecock
Racing Enterprises, has been a leader in the industry
in stock car fabrication. Jay and his team have built
cars for Richard Petty, Dale Earnhart, Sr., as well
as trucks for Mark Martin's son, Matt Martin.
Hedgecock Racing Academy, is the premier stock
car fabrication training and certification center in the
motor sports industry. The company will teach classes
and give certifications for stock car fabrication in a
race shop that has already achieved the following:
