Stock Car Fabrication Training Program

What will I actually learn?


Hedgecock Racing Academy's 9 week motor sports training program simulates the fast pace of building stock cars from the ground up and then getting them ready to hit the track. You will learn:
  • How to build a stock car from the ground up.
  • How an authentic race shop operates
  • How to operate in the fast pace environment of the stock car industry

What are my chances of getting a job in the racing industry?


Better than average - Currently 50 stock car racing industry professionals were trained at Hedgecock Racing including Jeff Burton and Bobby Labonte just to name a few.
 

Will I be trained in a real race shop or a classroom?

 
You will be trained in a real stock car fabrication shop primarily and a classroom for overviews and explanations. The Hedgecock Racing Academy Training & Certification Programs are all hands on as well and reinforced with course manuals and in-class instruction.

 No other training program in the US offers a more comprehensive and reputable certification program as does Hedgecock Racing Academy.

What are the qualifications for admission to Hedgecock Racing Academy?


There are no educational qualifications; however, all students must be at least 18 years old. Otherwise, you will need to get a parental consent form signed by a legal guardian.
 

How long the program is and how many hours a day will we be in training?


Hedgecock Racing Academy's packs everything that you need to know into an intense 9 week training program designed to teach you how to build a stock car from the ground up. The schedule is typically 8 am - 4:30 pm. However, classes may run later if the class or a student needs further instruction. Additionally, there will be training sessions on Saturdays and/or Sundays if necessary at the instructor's discretion.
